Checking in with a quick update to share some exciting news: I’m pleased and proud to announce I’m working as Kandu Caregiver Ambassador!
Kandu Health is developing a program engineered to support stroke survivors and their care partners through direct clinical Navigator support (who I’ll be working for!), assisted by an online resource guide.
Becoming a Kandu Caregiver Ambassador is an exciting next step in my path from stroke recovery supporter, spokesperson and media advocate, and support group leader. And perfectly complements the various care-related certificates I’ve earned in recent history.

Kandu Navigators work with stroke survivors and care partners to identify recovery needs, provide tailor-made educational programs, and unite survivors with community and tools crucial to living their best life in the wake of a stroke. And Kandu Caregiver Ambassadors assist Navigators by leading support groups, called “connect groups,” for Kandu program members.
Anyone interested can read more about us at Kandu Health. Or download Kandu’s program brochure, which details the enrollment process.
My responsibilities as a Kandu Caregiver Ambassador include:
Undoubtedly, I will have lots to share about my work with Kandu and the incredible rewards the experience is bound to reap.
I look forward to updating you very soon!
